If you saw my last post, oh, a year and a half ago, where I promised to start writing again, I wasn’t lying! The problem is that not even a month after that post, my life took a grand turn and changed immeasurably. I’m talking about divorce and the loss of the property I so dearly loved. I’m not making this post about that, however, as it is really irrelevant in the end.

I made my trek through hades and stood up, dusted myself off and got back at living. Unfortunately, 2020 happened and I, along with the rest of the world, took a major hit. Guess what though? I am, as are you, still standing!

Not only that, but I have a plan for the future and I’m working toward it.

Here it is…

First of all, in addition to everything else going on, I kept having issues with my rafts this past year and have decided to do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time… I’m building a drift boat from plans! Not only will it be durable but I can outfit it exactly the way I want to make it much more comfortable and functional. I’m going to be video blogging the process on our YouTube channel here.

The channel won’t only be about the build of the drift boat, but it will also include adventures on and off the water, stories, reviews and how to videos and some tutorials. It won’t be limited to fishing either- I’ll be making videos about everything of interest to me that I think will be interesting to you, too! Check it out and subscribe!

That’s it in a nutshell, check back often- I’ll be adding blog info and videos intermittently.
